Yolo County Probate Court Records

Yolo County probate records are documents that relate to probate cases, including the management of a person’s estate following their passing, adoptions, vital record corrections, wills, court-ordered guardianships, and name changes. The Clerk of the Yolo County Superior Court maintains records of the Probate Division of the Superior Court.

Interested parties may make an in-person, mail, email, or phone request to obtain Yolo County probate court records. To facilitate locating probate records, requesters should include the deceased’s name or the date of death. For in-person requests, requesters should visit the clerk’s office during office hours (8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday).

To submit a mail request, requesters should prepare a written request with information about the probate record of interest. In addition, they should include the requisite payment by check or money order payable to the Clerk of the Court, along with a self-addressed envelope. Mail the request to:
